Iceberg by Clive Cussler – 3/5

This one was…rough. I am a huge Clive Cussler fan, and have read the majority of his works. This one… has got to be my least favorite. The plot was pretty thin. Some of the language used… well. It was written in 1977, and I feel like this is the one that Clive tried to make Dirk the most James Bond like. There are stereotypes that would not fly today. While jarring, those aren’t the reasons for my dislike. Like I said – thin plot, plus no Al for him to play off of. Missing a lot of the… charm of the later books. Read if you want to read them all, but I will not be keeping this one.
